Can anyone believe that we are in our last week of class? I want to thank everyone for all of the hard work I have witnessed throughout the last few weeks. I know that the work has been long and the assignments have been numerous, but y'all have done a great job.
I have graded everything to be graded as of Monday @ 9pm. Ensure you check your grades to find out if you have received credit for all of your assignments!! There may be some assignments that you cannot submit in the assignments tab, but you can still submit them until Fri through webCT email. Simply give a note for web-based assignments or attach documents that need to be submitted and I will grade them.
For Tuesday: I would really, really, really appreciate your attempt to get rough drafts of all six of the NETS standards in TPE 14. This way, we can work on them in class to ensure everyone understands the expectations. Don't forget to download the full text of the NETS-T and use it as a guide as you write your narratives.
For Thursday: This will be a virtual class. Finish your journals and perfect your NETS for TPE 14!
We will also be finishing the Photoshop assignment and Rong-Ji and I will check off the remaining iMovie software proficiencies.

My favorite assignment was designing our blog. I liked it so much because it's the closest thing I have to my own Web page. The content is my writing and the design can be changed by me as well. Also, I enjoy knowing it could last for a long time and I can continue adding things to it. It will be very useful in my classroom if I choose. It is an interesting way to communicate with others and make information known very quickly.
I really enjoyed working with iMovie. I had never worked with the program before and was amazed with how user-friendly it is. I think iMovie could also be a useful education tool and a fun way to integrate technology and assignments for the students.
I really enjoyed working on kidspiration, the newsletter and imovie (don't forget to save!) because we got to be super creative. Imovie has to be my favorite though because you can be so creative with your home photos and video. You can be your own movie star! :-) The whole class was a blast and I will miss it! Have a great summer everyone!
I really enjoyed the iMovie project. I always assumed that making a video like that was very difficult, but I was pleasantly surprised with how simple the program was to use. If I can use it, anyone can. I hope to use it in the classroom!
The earthworm excel project was my favorite.

I really loved working on the Newsletter, iMovie,powerpoint presentation and kidspiration. I know I will be incorporating all of them into my classroom!
My favorite assignment was Inspiration. I have witnessed this program help dozens of student, especially those with specific learning disabilities have the abilities to organize their thoughts. I learned some new components of the program and feel better prepared to continue to use it with students.
I really enjoyed kidspiration. I do not really consider myself to be a highly creative person, so it was fun to just let loose and see what I would come up with. I think that will be a great tool for me to utilize in my classroom.
My favorite assignment was drawing a picture of my neighbor for the newsletter scan. I haven't done anything creative like that for a long time, it was fun!
My favorite assignment was the Inspiration Graphic Organizer. This is a really cool tool to make tools to help our students stay organized in higher grades. The Kidspiration is a cool way to teach kids how to organize. The iMovie editing was also fun to learn and is a tool I'm sure I will use when I teach in the near future!
